Leachco Safer Bather Infant Bath Pad Safer Bather bath pad has all of the features every parent needs to assure baby’s bath is as safe and pleasurable as can be. The head is elevated keeping water out of baby’s ears, and it won’t break or pull apart like some sponge pads. Soft polyester filling dries quickly with a sturdy hanger for convenient drip dry storage. Baby will appreciate not having to lay in a hard plastic tub. Safer Bather can be used to sponge bathe newborns or place directly into the full size tub when your infant is ready to make the transition. Just fill the tub and place Safer Bather directly in the tub. It is constructed of an open weave polyester fabric that is soft and porous, made just for the bath. The inner polyester batting conforms to baby’s body creating a soft cushioned pad like no other. When fininshed, just shake out the pad and watch the water quickly escape. The fabric’s special weave design actually speeds up water loss.Your Baby Today Babies usually love bathtime, but combining soap and water with a squirmy infant can make for slippery conditions. This softly cushioned bath pillow from Leachco helps keep your infant in place–whether you bathe her in the kitchen sink or bathtub–while you get her clean. The colorful striped fish and seahorses that adorn the pillow will amuse your baby. The bather comes with a handle to allow for easy drying. — Maureen Connolly for Your Baby Today

The Easiest Way to Give a Baby a Bath This was the best gift that I received at my shower. I had purchased a baby tub when my daughter was born, but she slid all around in the slippery tub. We had to wait for daddy to get home to give her a bath because it required two hands to keep her upright. I pulled this bath pillow from the closet and put it to use. It fit in my kitchen sink and cushioned my little one perfectly. I could now easily bathe her myself. She is almost 5 months old now, and we use it in the tub. The pad absorbs enough water to weight it down safely. Although it does dry quickly hanging overnight, it has developed a mildew smell, I would recommend washing it every couple of weeks to prevent this.

Perfect for slippery little ones! I started using this in our kitchen sink when my son was a newborn. We tried switching to our hard plastic baby bathtub when he was too big for the sink and he HATED it. Now, he is five months old, and I just use the safer bather in my big bathtub, and he splashes his feet and loves playing in the bath. This one is great because you can fill the tub first and the bather holds warm water in. We could use this with the baby bathtub, but it would be more trouble than it’s worth. This just hangs up to dry when finished, and ready for the next bath. No dragging a big baby tub in and out of the closet. We love it.

Don’t bathe a baby without it!! I got this for my daughter almost 7 years ago and this was one of my best shower gifts. It allows the child to float on the water and fully supports them. My husband was a pro doing the bath when she was only a month old. I had trouble finding this a couple of times when I wanted to give it as a gift so I am glad that it is back.
